Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling to individuals and families focusing on various therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. This role requires a deep understanding of mental health issues, along with the ability to conduct clinical research and implement evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities
Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities
Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Engage in clinical research to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment methodologies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, including referrals for additional services as needed.
Utilize coding systems for documentation and billing purposes to ensure proper record-keeping.
Implement creative therapeutic approaches when appropriate to enhance client engagement and healing.
Provide support and guidance to pediatric clients, addressing their unique emotional and developmental challenges.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent certification is preferred.
Experience in mental health counseling with a focus on pediatrics/families is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and coding practices is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help individuals and families navigate their mental health challenges effectively.
