Lindsey Cox, LCSW, has extensive experience working with children, families, and diverse populations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Addiction Studies from Boise State University (2011) and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University (2014). Driven by a passion for supporting individuals and families, Lindsey furthered her education by earning a second Master’s degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University in 2019.
With a career that spans Florida and California, Lindsey has worked with children, families, the homeless population, and in the addiction field. Upon returning to Idaho, she honed her expertise as a pediatric mental health clinician, specializing in children and adolescents aged 3–18. Throughout her career, Lindsey has recognized a critical need for parenting support and guidance. This insight led her to pursue parental consulting, where she focuses on helping families improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create a harmonious home environment. Her dedication to empowering parents and bridging gaps between children and their caregivers makes her a trusted resource for families seeking positive change.

Deanna Adriano
LPC
With a deep passion for helping others heal and grow, Deanna Adriano, LPC began her professional journey in counseling after years of preparation and life experience. She graduated from Biola University in 2012 and earned her Master’s degree from Denver Seminary in 2017, where she cultivated a strong foundation in clinical mental health and integrative care.
After moving to Idaho in 2023, she launched her career in counseling, becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and completing Brainspotting Phase 1 training. This marked the beginning of a meaningful chapter in her professional life, where she began working directly with clients to support their emotional resilience, healing, and personal growth.
Deanna’s approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered techniques—meeting clients where they are with empathy, respect, and genuine connection. She integrates mindfulness practices into sessions to help individuals build awareness, manage stress, and develop a stronger sense of presence and self-compassion.
Outside of clinical work, Deanna has been married for nearly fifteen years and is a proud parent to two children. Her personal experiences in marriage, parenting, and navigating life’s transitions inform her therapeutic approach with authenticity, warmth, and grounded perspective.
She’s committed to ongoing learning and to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate their own paths toward healing and wholeness.
Carissa Arruda
LMSW
Carissa is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has a passion for supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges and transitions. She earned an undergraduate degree from Boise State University and her Master of Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, family-centered care.
In addition to providing counseling services in private practice, Carissa works full-time as an inpatient medical social worker, helping patients and families navigate complex medical diagnoses, hospitalizations, and the emotional impact that often accompanies major life and health changes. Her professional background also includes experience as a hospice social worker, where she had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through grief, loss, and end-of-life care with empathy and compassion.
Carissa has experience working with children and adolescents of all ages, as well as parents, couples, and blended families. She is passionate about helping children and families strengthen communication, build healthy coping skills, navigate behavioral and emotional challenges, and foster stronger family connections. She also specializes in supporting women, oncology patients, and individuals experiencing anxiety, grief, identity shifts, and major life transitions.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), using evidence-based strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and developmental stage. Carissa promotes a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where children, individuals, and families feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow and heal together.
She is committed to providing a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can build resilience, gain confidence, and move forward with clarity and hope.
